Virtual Groups & Videoconferences

THE SBRN  VIRTUAL COMMUNITY

SBRN offers individuals with spina bifida and other disabilities, their families, professionals and interested others a convenient, enjoyable way to learn and network via video or telephone conference calls through video meeting platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom.

There is no need to travel, simply join in from the comfort of your home. Handout materials for special events are sent to participants in advance via email or US mail.

Virtual Chats or Telegroups are support groups that are often peer-led and may revolve around common interests or specific themes.  Groups generally meet for about an hour and guest speakers are sometimes invited to present workshops on topics of special interest to the groups.

Videoconferences are interactive workshops and seminars presented by experts in the field on a wide range of topics.

You do not need to be a member of the SBRN to participate in these events.  For most groups and conferences, there is no charge.  For some special events, there may a small fee, which can be waived if needed.  Registration may be required.
