This past year was special for SBRN as we initiated some new programs and events, while also maintaining our longstanding successful services.
Our Signature Programs:
Strive for Independence Program – a new program that helps children achieve greater independence by managing continence issues
Family Support Services – our ongoing individualized nursing and social service coordination for children, adults and families across the state
Special Medical Needs Fund – financial assistance for families with high medical expenses related to their disability
“Healthy NOW, Healthy LATER” Prevention Program – our unique prevention program in which we train college students to educate others about the importance of good health now and the role of folic acid in the prevention of birth defects
As the State of NJ moves forward with changing its service models for people with disabilities, it is increasingly important for us to use alternative funding sources to keep our programs going. Your generous support ensures that we can continue to provide these vital services to individuals, families and communities.
Thank you! We wish you a happy, healthy and successful year to come!
