Information & Resources

SBRN continues to be a major resource for the community on issues related to spina bifida and living with disabilities.  We produce our in-house educational newsletter, the Empowerment Zone, which is widely distributed through email and social media.  Our newsletter includes pertinent information regarding health topics, legislative news, educational issues and advocacy efforts, along with community and agency news. We also have extensive resources on many relevant topics on our website.

We also host numerous virtual support groups and interactive presentations, which provide information in a format easily accessible from home. Our support groups encourage peers to share advice and friendship, while our presentations and discussions offer insightful conversations hosted by experts in the field, many of whom are disabled.

The Spina Bifida Resource Network prioritizes providing safe and open environments for participation and discussion in all of our programs. SBRN reserves the right, at our discretion, to deny a person from participating in any program due to behavior that is considered by SBRN to be inappropriate, violent, threatening, offensive or unwelcome, or that causes harm or discomfort, intentionally or not, to other SBRN participants, volunteers, invited guests or staff.
